GUILD RULES PLEASE READ
These are some general rules that guild members are expected to follow. We have no intention of playing babysitter and hope that everyone respects these rules and their fellow guild members so that we can maintain organization and efficiency in guild activities.
1. RESPECT
1.1. You are not expected to agree with everyone in the guild but please be respectful. Personal attacks are not acceptable and disagreements should not be discussed in guild chat.
1.2. People leaving the guild are almost always contacted by an officer. Be aware if your poor behavior results in the guild losing a valued member you will be held accountable at the discretion of the guild-master.
1.3. If you have an issue with any guild policy or member please privately bring it to the attention of a guild officer for discussion with the council and gm.
1.4. If you are thinking of leaving the guild please discuss it with an officer. Those who have left will not be allowed to return with the exception of extraordinary circumstances determined by the GM.
2. Guild Chat
2.1. Respect and good judgment are expected in guild chat. Please take disagreements or personal discussions into another channel.
2.2. Bring guild issues to an officer outside of /g chat.
2.3. Keep use of CAPS to a minimum. Spamming for groups or selling items in /g chat is not appropriate.
2.4. Profanity: We shouldn’t have to police people on their language. Just keep in mind that there are others in the guild who don’t want to hear it. There is a profanity filter for those who are offended by it and you should take full advantage. This includes talk about the size of your e-peen and where you would like to stick it. When someone in /g chat asks you to refrain from talking about something they find offensive please respect that and take it to a private channel. That being said….don’t be oversensitive crybabies either.
2.5. Absolutely no racial, religious, sexual or political topics are allowed in guild chat. Again respect the guild. There are a diverse group of people in the guild and they all deserve the same respect you do. In severe cases removal from the guild will be a very likely result of disregard of this rule.
2.6. Members who do not follow these rules will be put on probation on their first strike and second strike they will be banned from the guild.
3. Member Removal, Absences and Quitting
3.1. Being in the guild is a privilege. If you cannot follow these simple rules, we will remove you from the guild. We do our best to ensure that the guild is a fun and constructive environment for all. We reserve the right to remove you from the guild if you disturb this environment on a regular basis for whatever reason. If you cannot conduct yourself in a civilized manner and respect the people in this guild, we will remove you.
3.2. /Gquit Policy - Effective immediately all members who purposefully type "/gquit" will be permanently out of the guild, with no chance of rejoining.
3.3. Things that can (and most likely will) get you kicked out of the guild:
-Racial/Sexual/Religious slurs of any kind
-Harassing any guild member or member of another guild.
-Being disrespectful to other members.
-Damaging the guild image (including getting into e-peen battles on the
official forums or general game chats)
-Badmouthing this or any guild
-General Douchebagery
-Causing drama in the guild or putting down members or the guild as a whole
-Being obnoxious
-Persistent complaining in non-constructive ways
-Failure to follow instructions from officers
-Having a persistent bad attitude
-Impeding the progress of guild goals
-Intentionally wiping a group
-Failing to follow any guild policy
Do we warn people before we kick them? Yes, we just did. We may or may not give another warning at our discretion.
4. Raiding
4.1 During raid progressing night, everyone stays focused. Vent needs to be clear for these nights so we can do our jobs right. When we are doing farm runs you can have a good time laughing and talking on vent, just not when we are trying to down a boss for the first time.
4.2 Be on time! If you are not here within 5 min of going into the instance and not in the raid, your raid spot is someone else's now, and you will be on waitlist for when someone does leave. No acceptions, we wantto get to raiding as fast as possible as we have limited time.
4.3 Bring your own flasks, pots, food and oils. You will farm/buy your own consumables if your wanting to raid, dont be lazy and say you forgot.
4.4 Repair before entering the raid instance. We don't want to have to wait on someone after 1 wipe because they forgot to repair. 5.2 Alts will not get gear over mains. PERIOD. Mains will get there gear first over anyone else. 5.3 Everyone can play on there alts as long as they want to until raid time. When it is raid time people are expected to log on there mains for raid.
5. Alts
5.1 Alts will be allowed in raids on 2 conditions:
1. If it is a farm night some will be able to play on alts. We will do a /roll for this, only a certain number of people will play alts.
2. If someone is asked to play there alt for a raid they can use there alt.
Members are also asked to check the guild forums daily for any and all updates, voting and information for the guild.
6. DKP
6.1 The system we are using is called Silent DKP (also known as Blind DKP). The cap on the DKP is 50.
6.2 The first week that we start raiding we will be able to go into the negatives (down to -20DKP only, no further down). After the first week of raiding there will be no more negative DKP, those in the negatives will be in the negatives until they get more DKP.
6.3 When someone reaches 50 DKP, everyones DKP will be cut in half in order to not have people just sitting there storing there DKP for gear.
6.4 When an item drops, the raid leader will announce to bid on the item posted in chat. When the leader asks for this, you will whisper the leader the amount you want to spend on the item (must be above the minimum bid of the item). After everyone has whispered the leader there bids, the bidding will end. Once the bidding ends the leader will announce who won by saying in raid warning the name of the person who won and how much he spent on the item. When the person recieves the item they will be deducted of the amount they spent on the item.
6.5 The bids will be whispered so people dont try to outbid someone by 1 pt and also because it should be your choice however much you want to spend on the item. IT IS YOUR CHOICE HOW MUCH YOU WANT TO SPEND, EVEN IF IT MEANS YOUR WANTING TO SPEND ALL YOUR DKP THATS FINE...ITS YOUR DKP.
DKP for items as followed:
Weapons - 15 DKP
Gloves - 5 DKP
Pants, shoulders - 10 DKP
Helm - 12 DKP
Chest - 13 DKP
Necks, rings, cloaks - 8 DKP
Trinkets - 9 DKP
Boots, bracers - 7 DKP
Offspec - /roll and also 4 DKP
To get DKP:
Show up on time (2pts)
Staying to the end (2pts)
Time spent (1pt/30min)
Boss kills (1pt/boss)
First boss kills (bonus) (3pts)
These rules are set in place to keep the type of environment that we all enjoy. We are all here to have fun, and these rules help ensure that we can. If you feel that any of these rules are unreasonable, please do not apply, or if you are already in the guild, please leave.
